Solid Sterling Silver with authentic amethyst gemstones - An attractive pair of Scottish Thistle Sterling Silver Earrings using a traditional design featuring the Scottish Thistle, the national emblem of Scotland.

The Scottish Thistle has come a long way with its delicate flower heads, sharp thorns, and its defiant ability to flourish.

Throughout Celtic regions, thistle represents bravery, devotion, durability, strength, and determination celebrated in these sterling silver hook earrings.

The Scottish Thistle is a resilient symbol which has always bloomed across Scotland's landscape, but it wasn't until the 13th century that it's placed in the country's symbolism and written history began during the reign of Alexander III.

The Scottish thistle became a national symbol, giving the motto "Nemo me impune lacessit", which is translated as "What dares meddle with me?"

It will delight lovers of all things Scottish, and the unique history of this romantic country.
